riscv vfork failed in PROTECTED build

@pussuw when trying PROTECTED build canmv230/pnsh with latest upstream, the ostest crashes at vfork_test(). After reverting e6973c764cd531 (in pull #12435), it works. The optimizations are good thus reverting is not so preferred.
Can you take a look and suggest how we can fix the PROTECTED mode? Maybe it can be reproduced with PROTECTED build on MPFS device as well?
