Is this abandoned?

Hi, I'm wondering if this was abandoned or if it's just maintainers not having much time right now.

This is partly due to #87 still not being done and my lack of motivation to work to get it done, and also my general lack of motivation for any programming as of late.

The migration not being done makes it awkward to add new stuff to the project or fix little things in the mean time which has kinda left me in an annoying stalemate between needing to get it done to work on Anyrun or just abandoning the idea and continuing as is.

Hm. I have empathy for this - sounds a bit like you had a great idea but realized a little late that this involves a lot more effort in the transition phase.
anyrun is a great launcher, however if I currently want to use it I have to pin my Arch mirrors to an early April release, since there was a hyprland release inbetween that anyrun is not compatible with.

I hope you find the time and energy to get the step done - I can't really find a lot of clearly laid out plans on what you have in mind to implement some of your ideas by myself so I'm gonna have to either wait or use another launcher.

Hi
I recently forked the Anyrun project and made several fixes, improvements and changes (like migrating to GTK4 (p.s. still in process))
I'm wondering what to do best with all of that as it has undergone a number of changes like rebasing, splitting into modules and other, so pull request will be really huge. (It's some kind of messy, not finished yet and buggy, but I'm trying my best)
But I would be glad to help in the development of the project or even maintain it.

Thanks for the statement! The project barely being worked on was the main reason for me to create Walker. Creating something new that floats my boat was easier than contributing to this project. Mainly due to Rust skill issues. But the whole re-organization effort hasn't given me much confidence in the project either. It is what it is. In the end this is open source and no one is obligated to anything. I hope you are fine and enjoy life and thanks for creating Anyrun, it has served me for a longer time than any other runner.

Maybe @bzglve 's fork will keep Anyrun alive. Although judging from all the changes done and planned... just use Walker at that point? Shameless plug. Just being real though.
