A UI Videopak for the OP-Z App

This is a UI extension for the OP-Z app that enables you to play chords in different keys, modes and forms. It's easy and safe to install, using the official "Motion" graphics engine in the OP-Z app, which means you can control the extension using the Motion track of the OP-Z!

Installation

Download the built Chords! videopak from the releases page of this GitHub repo. Follow the official guide to install the videopak on your device.

Usage

  1. In the OP-Z app go to the "Motion" section of the menu.
  2. Select the "Chords!" videopak.
  3. Go to track 16 of the OP-Z, the Motion track with the little camera.
  4. Use the encoders on page 1 and 2 to change the colour-coded options on the videopak.
  5. On page 1, you can change the key, the octave, the mode and the form of the chords.
  6. On page 2, you can set the channel. Try picking channel 7 for the arp track or 8 for the chords track.
  7. You can parameter lock Motion settings on the sequencer to automatically change these parameters.
  8. Press the buttons on the OP-Z app to play the chords!
