Vue.js not detected by Vue dev tools

Clear and concise description of the problem
I'm developing an extension using this template, but Vue dev tools is not detecting the options/index.html as using Vue.js.
Suggested solution
Would be awesome if we can use Vue.js devtools while developing a Chrome extension.
