Compatibility with v1.4 Properties

With the new properties functionality in v1.4 you can't have ':' characters in the frontmatter except in the property name or a URL. I don't think they can even be escaped.
Since many book titles include ':' they need be suppressed in anything that isn't a URL.
Fun stuff
Aren't the titles wrapped in double quotation marks? I'm not sure, but I think reserved characters are safe within " in YAML.
Not by default. Now that I know it's a problem correcting the odd one by hand isn't difficult.
Add " to your templates, then.
