How to protect single file link?

Hello,
I want to secure the auto generated file link that allows someone to download the file. For example I want to upload files and then create a link by defining who is allowed to access the resources. But every single file in the cache contains "location" parameter that is a link to download the single file. Is there any possibility to secure the auto generated file link by defining who is able to access it?
