error relating to generation of limbs.spline_tenticle

Short description of error
Generation has thrown an exception: create_gear_widget() got an unexpected keyword argument 'size'.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Running the 'Experimental Rigs by Alexander Gavrilov - legacy version 2.91', on blender 2.93.3 (probably where the error stems from) - the latest version of the addon doesn't work at all.
When trying to generate the rig, I get the error above. The error is in relation to the Spline IK Tentacle (limbs.spline_tentacle). The simplest way to reproduce the error would be to create a single bone and delete it in edit mode. Then, add sample 'limbs.spline_tenticle', and generate rig.
