Does not revert to login screen when "timed out"

I was on a project-specific share page, and multiple pink boxes popped up on the left side of the window saying something like "you do not have permission to access this resource." They disappeared within ~15 seconds. Evidently I wasn't really logged in, even though Bioshare still showed on that tab.

Can Bioshare revert to the login screen when a user isn't actually logged in?
