convert from "blog" to my "public notes"

pages are organized by topic or just listed. instead of post to say "here's something new", just add the info to the notes either by creating a new page or adding to existing ones. instead of rss feed or "latest posts" list, people can watch the repo for changes (e.g. use the GitHub watch feature or create git tags for new posts and use tag RSS feed.
presumably this would use https://github.com/amacfie/ci_pandoc_test/ which needs updates e.g. amacfie/ci_pandoc_test#20
Instead of https://github.com/amacfie/ci_pandoc_test/, use GitHub-dialect markdown files in a GitHub repo since now there's latex support. Or wait until GitHub wikis support latex and use that.
- make ToC page in https://github.com/amacfie/public_notes with links to blog posts
- when a post would be edited, copy content to https://github.com/amacfie/public_notes, and put JS redirect from post to new location, and edit the new version
- Put message in header saying blog is archived and my new site is https://github.com/amacfie/public_notes
- any new stuff goes in public_notes
