Lock settings in comparison view for scalars plots

Proposal Summary
When switching away from the Scalars pane in the comparison view, some graph settings are reset and when switching back they have been reset (e.g. log-scale, zoom, etc). A simple button to lock settings for specific plots would be handy, or even better locking settings by default and just have a "reset to default"- button.
Motivation
It is a pain to repeatedly having to re-configure plots to be able to monitor the values of interest.
