Expand and organize case-by-case analysis in final proof

Proof of lemma (constructing the jigsaw surface) is pretty clear. However, the final analysis of the gluing is not. Fix this up. Try have explicit cases!
This is really a rewrite of the later sections, not a completion of the early ones. Push to later.
