Feature request: ability to use wasavi in the Omnibox

jbyler opened this issue · comments

It would be great to be able to edit the URL bar / omnibox / whatever it's called. I find myself editing the URL pretty frequently, and it would be great to be able to do so with wasavi.

Thanks for considering!

@jbyler I think it is the job of vimium or surfingkeys if you use Chrome.

  • Vimum: use ge to edit URL
  • surfingkeys: use su to edit URL

Hi @jdhao, yes, some other extensions do implement this feature as you say. At the moment I am using saka-key, which does not include an editor, and so I also use wasavi for editing text fields and text areas. I was thinking that it would be nice to use wasavi in the URL bar as well.
