Certificate not valid for any names

russellmoran99 opened this issue · comments

@aeleos Thanks for this. I'm getting the error: "in the logs of cloudflared i have this error "ERR error="Unable to reach the origin service. The service may be down or it may not be responding to traffic from cloudflared: x509: certificate is not valid for any names, but wanted to match yourdomain.com"

On your troubleshooting it says to:
Try changing yourdomain.com to host.yourdomain.com, where host is a valid subdomain that you have a DNS record for. Despite this being a specific hostname, cloudflared should be able this name to verify certificates for your other subdomains as they pass through the tunnel.

Where am I supposed to change yourdomain.com to host.yourdomain.com? In the config.yaml, CF, NPM? Any details appreciated. I'm confused on that part. Thanks

Recently started getting this as well - could it be a change on the CF end?

Update on this @russellmoran99 - I set an origin cert in NPM and replaced the existing certs for all of the hosts I had registered in NPM to the wildcard cert, restarted the CloudFlared container and everything stated working. I followed the steps pictured here - https://imgur.com/a/pVCS5QF
