I have a problem during the installation which is probably caused by a missing gcc dependency.
Vagrant up log:

I have fixed this by inlcuding the gcc package manually in my main pp file, but the module should work by itself and define all needed dependecies.
There is a pull request for parts of this, metioning the missing dependy in the metadata.json
. I have not yet completely understood the whole dependecy management in puppet if there is any, but I do not think that change would sufficient to fix this problem.
