load_vectors - Memory Issue

While loading the fasttext crawl-300d-2M.vec i am facing memory(RAM) issue, i have 16GB RAM but still the whole process gets killed due to memory issue, any workaround for this or how is this issue addressed while running in PCs with 16GB or less RAM?
