Topic such as
- Font families:
\rmfamily = serif
,\sffamily = sans-serif
, and\ttfamily = fixed-width
- Font shape:
\slshape = slanted
,\scshape = small caps
,\itshape = italics
, and\upshape = roman
.
Notice how \rmfamily
represents serif typeface, whereas \upshape
represents roman (as opposed to italics) typeface. These misnomers could be very confusing.
