Cant launch Ocotpi via dmenu

trying to launch Octopi via dmenu gives "You must use "/usr/bin/octopi" to run Octopi" error (the command "which octopi" results in /usr/bin/octopi)
Indeed, that's design. I just assigned meta+shift+o to launch it.
ive done the same now but its still annyoing :/
It's a security measure.
