Describe the bug
Downloaded the latest release of zmNinja from the Google Play Store to replace the old zmNinja-pro. Notifications no longer work via the event server. I'm not sure if this is due to changes needed with the event server (if I reopen the old pro app, they work again), but there isn't even an option to enable or configure notifications at all. Notifications just simply seem to be missing completely.

**Additional context**
If there is anything else I can provide, please let me know. Also, if there is new documentation for the event server changes for the new version that might be causing this, I'll give it a shot. I looked around but I seem to be current.
I'm running Android 13 (With the 5th Sept 2023 security patch) on a One Plus 11 5G and have exactly the same problem as described. The rest of the app (1.7.001) appears to work well but there is no option to enable notifications.
If you look at the app info screen it shows notifications as "deny" with no option to allow them (see attached).
As @eekay35 has found, going back to ZMNinja-Pro (1.6.009) gives the option for notifications as expected.
Thanks for the detailed report. We are investigating and hope to have a fix soon.
A release with the fix has been submitted to the play store and will be available as soon as google approves it. On Android 13, 1.7.002 will request post notification permissions when the app starts.
