Show message log function doesn't work

@Sebsebeleb: No matter what I'm trying to use (either the engine default or ToME's dialogs), I can't make it work.
Engine default complains about split for some reason and ToME's complains about something else.
With the amount of info that's in the log, I think it should be a priority.
Message log is included in the chat screen, so if we're trying to make chat work, it should hopefully take care of this issue, too.
