Is that convenient to backup _data directory?

Hi there,

_data directory contains cache data (as mentionned here):

• cache is cache (generated on demand)
• combined is optimised CSS and JS files (generated on demand)
• i are picture's miniatures (generated on demand)
• logs are logs (will be lost but not necessary)
• template_c are optimised PHP templates (generated on demand)
• tmp are temporary files like generated RSS feed for example (generated on demand)

This directory is also used by some plugins for there temporary files, such as Batch downloader which saves generated zip archives in download_archives.

This files are redundant with the others backup files, and takes lot of space.
This fles are not all generated at restore but on request (one by one).

It is not needed to backup them, even if it improves CPU usage after a restore.
