Dublin Core metadata?

Hello all. My database is primarily composed of works by artists with metadata that follows the Dublin Core standards. For example, I rely on "creator" and "title" in particular. Is there any way to use DCMI with pix-plot? I find the current metadata categories supported by pix-plot to be somewhat limiting. Thanks for your guidance with this.
