Dismissing first-run lasso tooltip leaves you in lasso mode

The first time a user loads a pixplot, they will see a helpful tooltip at the bottom right explaining what the lasso selection tool does. Dismissing this popup with the "Got It" button, however, immediately switches the user into that lasso mode -- despite them not having taken any action to enter that mode.
