Detect the used Network Interface on first run

Detect the Network Interface on the first run.

I can't get it to see my network interface. The counter looks like this:

<counter name="netin" value="\Network Interface(Intel(R) 82566DM-2 Gigabit Network Connection)\Bytes Received/sec"/>

Is the (R) causing a problem?

@AZZmatic: Not sure about that. I mean, I remember I had a similar issue in the past on a friend's computer, but I don't recall if I managed to solve it back then. Is the "(R)" the ® symbol or just (R)? Either way, you should open a new ticket to track this.

I know I am 5 years late, but I am also having the same issue, how did you fix it?

[R] should work.

fixed, thankss :)

Network Interface(*) works for me

Network Interface(*) works for me

Yeah, but this includes all network interfaces which isn't quite the same. There's overhead etc. But it's a solution albeit not a perfect one :P
