Microsoft Store will not open/no game pass games run after using injector on DQXI

I did the following steps exactly:

• started dq11 (game pass install)
• without closing the game, used UWPInjector.exe to extract dragon quest 11 from the WindowsApps folder
• upon extraction completing, copied the files out of the temp folder
• closed the current instance of the game
• copied a few mods from nexus into the paks folder
• attempted to run the game from the extracted executable
• game did not make it to main menu. black screen (loading screen was present)

At this point I notice the store app is not working. Here's what I tried:

• running wsreset.exe
• uninstalling and reinstalling Microsoft Store via power shell
• updating Windows

This issue has persisted. Any tips on how to fix this issue would be appreciated.
