What are these quarterly project updates?
Four times a year, the project publishes a quarterly update.
Where does the call for submissions appear?
Josepha or Chloe reach out to the Team Reps in each team for an update on a number of bullet points. From Q2/2021, this call is shared in the Team Reps channel on Make WordPress Slack.
Where does the team collaborate on these?
In Marketing, these are put together by the Team Reps and contributors involved in helping facilitate the team, together they are known as the Projects and Actions Group. The drafts are shared with the wider team and suggestions for inclusion invited.
There is a planning document on the Marketing Google drive for these updates which can be added during the quarter, and are shared at a Global marketing team meeting. A longer version is also created to publish on the Marketing P2/ shared in the Team as a thank you and encourager to contributors, and to cross-link to the published quarter project-wide reports.
Where are the deadlines and the latest update listed on the Marketing GitHub?
Each individual quarterly updates will be listed on this rolling tasks board as individual cards (issues) as they are requested, together with their deadlines.
We are adding a card with the links to the previous updates for reference and archive.
Important in transition quarters, to include both the outgoing and incoming team reps in the submission.
