Elm diff shows no syntactic changes for changes to doc comments

(1) When a doc comment is modified, it doesn't register/display as modified.
In VSCode I see
In difftastic I see
(2) Unfortunately I can't share the repo as this is at work. I will try to reproduce with a personal project later so I can share that repo.
(3) Difftastic 0.54.0 (built with rustc 1.75.0), macOS Sonoma 14.4.1
