Cheat codes crashing xenoblade chronicles definitive edition permanently until you redo jailbreak on atm

angrynewraze opened this issue · comments

I installed atmosphere on my jailbroken switch and also installed xenoblade chronicles definitive edition on it and when I try to use edizon to apply cheats to my game edizon crashes my game permanently or at least until I redo the atm jailbreak. And I'm on the latest update for the game that the cheats on edizon require and it still crashes my game until I redo my atm jailbreak. And bc of this issue I've had to redo my atm jailbreak like 10x already and that's pissing me off.

Your description is lackluster. What you mean by "edizon crashes my game"? Like step by step instead of vague statements.

And this doesn't sound like edizon issue, more like your cheats issue in combination with lack of understanding how cheats in Atmosphere works. Edizon doesn't work constantly in background, it's only turning off/on cheat.

I open xenoblade chronicles definitive edition to the title screen then I press the home button on the controller then go to the album icon then go to edizon and I leave the top option that says for update 1.1.2 then turn off the cheats that I don't need then press the home button the controller again then go back to my game then I press the A button on the controller to get to to the new game/continue game/options part of the title screen then the game crashes then after that whenever I open the game it gets just passed the nintendo loading part of the game and then I get game closed due to an error and that keeps up even if I uninstall the game and reinstall it until I redo the atm jailbreak then the game works again until I try to use edizon again then the same loop happens again. It seems like a never ending loop on the atm jailbreak.

atm and the game works perfectly until I try to use edizon so yes this is a edizon issue.

And solution for this instead of deleting whole Atmosphere wouLd be just deleting toggles.txt file in cheats folder. You have 0 idea how cheats works if you think this is edizon fault. This is your cheats fault.

I'm using edizon for my cheats so yes I think it's edizon's fault. Edizon downloads my cheats and I toggle them on/off inside Edizon and nowhere else and I don't download my own cheats from anywhere else except inside the Edizon homebrew.
