Corrupts BoTW save

I recently used the edizon save editor to see if i could mess with my botw save. upon opening the save, I was greeted with every value for stamina, hearts etc being 0 (zero). i was confused and decided to exit the editor without saving/ injecting my edited save. I then went to play BoTW and on every account, it crashes after 2-5 seconds of the splash screen.
I used:
Most recent edizon from HBappstore
Atmosphere 0.14.1
I saw someone had a similar issue in 2018, but that was fixed with an update to edizon, so I cannot follow it as i am already on a later version.
Edit: after edit a save on a different account, it no longer crashes but instead stays at the splash.
Edit 2: possibly a coincidence but acnh now doesnt load either

Edizon has been crashing people who try to edit saves/cheat it seems, atleast for me it is, think it might have to do with new sysmodules added from the previous Switch update for Mario All-Stars. Alot of people who homebrew their Switch have been getting crashes and corrupts recently, but if you load without Atmosphere it is perfectly fine.
