Buttons randomly stop working on Linux (KDE Neon 5.17)

I noticed that most of the time, buttons such as the new project, open project, view terminal etc stop working randomly after starting the application.
I was able to create some projects, but I still had to reopen multiple times the program for it to work, Also, it's kinda weird how when the mouse goes down, the menu disappears a bit before reappearing when it arrives on the button

Distribution : KDE Neon 5.17 (based on Ubuntu)
Arch : amd64
Opened on a user session without root access. Without root, multiple features such as checking updates don't work, I'd suggest to do operations requiring read write access on the home directory rather than the install directory.
I have built the latest version of this repo manually and it fixed most issues, however there are still some issues, such as the right click on files that stops working randomly as well
