[Linux] Freezes on "Valve" title screen. Cannot continue to game.

The problem:
Upon launching the game from the Steam Launcher, the game launches and gets stuck at the first "Valve" Menu--the one with the black background with "Valve" written in a red rectangle. The game does not progress no matter how much time I wait. Usually, the game launches normally after pressing "play" from the launcher.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
After the latest update from May 23rd, 2024, the game fails to launch normally. Nothing other than that has changed in regards to the game. No other steps are necessary.
Works for me on Arch.
Flatpak Version of steam works for me, dunno why its not working with native steam installation
Hello @amelia-online, as @ridicolos noted, this issue is already being tracked at #3753. Closing as a duplicate.
Possibly an NVIDIA 535 series specific video driver issue.
