Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
I open the Steam client, choose CS2 and, click the green play button. It opens the game and at the end of the orange screen intro it crashes. This has been happening for over a week I believe. And is the exact same on both this, my Arch Linux install and my Ubuntu 22.04. But I am addressing the Arch install here as it is a much lighter install.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
- Open Steam
- Press play on CS2
- crash at the end of orange screen animation
- cry

Hello @happysmack, the issue you're seeing is a kernel regression which was tracked at https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/-/issues/3343.
A quick workaround would be to reboot into an older kernel (6.6.30 does not count as older) until this is resolved upstream, most likely some time next week.
