CS2 Crashes after some time

System Info

My system is up to date

When i open Counter Strike 2 and wait for some time, it crashes. The time is less than a minute. This issue started after today's update.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

Open the game.
Wait in menu, in a game or in a demo file.

I think it may just be an error related to KDE or Wayland's protocol. Checking this thread might help:

Another crash dump if it helps. Idk if its from menu or in game crash, i didn't open steam from terminal when it happened

Hello @DavutHaxor, can you check if https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/-/issues/3343 is relevant to your system? A quick test would be to reboot into an older kernel and see how the game behaves.

Thank you. Downgrading to 6.8.7 solved my issue. I think i will now wait for issue to be fixed by their side.

Same problem. I have tried to downgrade my kernel from 6.8.9 to 6.8.8 and now I can launch cs without problems too.
