Ubuntu's 20.04 version of spdlog does not work

I think this is related to the version updated here 6d03245 and this merge request !63.
spdlog version of ubuntu 20.04 is currently 1.5.0 and that means it is too small (does not offer spdlog::custom_flag_formatter, this needs at least spdlog version 1.6.0).
