It's unlikely this thread will get a response as Tripo3D.ai is a commercial company, it is not in their interest to disclose the training parameters at best all we can hope for is that they release an updated or alternate models.

I have no idea why TripoAI released TripoSR to the public with the model they did, but I can only assume it was a marketing tactic and an act of Bravado, to show everyone that TripoAI is a real contender as no one to date has been able to release an open source project that has the same performance to quality ratio as TripoSR.
