Interaction data monitoring

Description:

Our Creative Labs team can benefit heavily from collecting and understanding data regarding user interactions with our organization. This could be anything ranging from helping the marketing team with social media (number of likes on an announcement post correlating with event turnout) to the design team (flow of traffic to website).

While interaction data monitoring can be done with various sources, I'm proposing we start with two areas of focus:

  1. Social media: using the Facebook API and the Instagram API
  2. Main site: collecting data on traffic to our website

Results from this project can really help our entire Creative Labs team in setting beginning-of-quarter goals whether it be hard numbers to target or strategies to implement.
