Describe the bug
Since the update to version 12, Wallpanel is no longer able to activate the display. Neither via the camera nor via the API.

To Reproduce
Test via camera or send the API wake up command

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

  • Device: Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE
  • OS: Android 13 (One UI-Version 5.1.1)
  • Applicaiton version 12.0

I have the same Issue.
Device: Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra
OS: Android 13 (One UI-Version 5.1.1)
Applicaiton version 0.12.0

Additional Info:

  • {"wake": true} returns {"result": true}
  • setting brightness via HTTP still works.

I can offer to do advanced tests if they help identifying the bug.

Same here.
Screen wake does not work anymore - used to work fairly well before with face detection.

  • Galaxy tab A8

I can confirm that, sort of. I actually thought it was a problem with Android 5.1.1. I downgraded my two tablets to that from 6.0.1 because 6.0.1. was getting annoyingly slow on the old Lenovo Tab 2, and I couldn't get wakeup to work on MQTT. Downgrading the app to 11 lets it wake up again, but it doesn't seem to stay awake. But that I can control by setting the timeout to 1 minute and then running a wake command every 50 seconds, it seems.
