Explain segment on mouse hover

Is it possible for spaceline to offer a tooltip explaining what a segment means when I hover the mouse over it? I don't always remember what every segment means, so this would be quite helpful!
It's possible, perhaps mostly as an option. Many segments have their own tooltips already and I don't want to override those without due process, as it were.
