Google searched from URL bar fail to complete.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Undetermined time after loading Chrome.
2. Perform a Google search from the URL bar.


What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: Google search results.
Result: Blank page with the URL: 
https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&es_th=1&ie=UTF
-8
At times it causes the tab to crash (after showing the results for just a 
second).  This behaviour is NOT present in incognito mode.


What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.0.6.18
Google Chrome   40.0.2214.115 (Official Build)
Windows 7 64bit

Please provide any additional information below.
Issue is resolved by disabling ScriptSafe.
There is just enough time before the tab crashes (when it is behaving that way) 
to click a link.
