Why does my browser show version 1.6.0.18 but the downloads page shows 1.6.0.16 and the chrome gallery shows 1.6.0.17?

The version of scriptsafe reported in my browser is 1.6.0.18.  The latest 
version show on the downloads page is 1.6.0.16.  The Chrome Gallery shows the 
following on the "details" page:

   v1.0.6.x - "We Feel Safe in a Dangerous Place"

    v1.0.6.17 - Saturday, May 17, 2014
    - implemented true inline script blocking (credits to gorhill and the HTTP Switchboard project)

Why no mention of 1.6.0.18, nor associated change log? Why is neither 1.6.0.17 
nor 1.6.0.18 shown on the google code downloads page?  Am I really running the 
most recent version, or is
something broken? This version discrepancy has me suspicious.

  I previously reported a bug that cropped up with this latest version when using SPNEGO, but I have no easy way of understanding what has changed when there's no changelog.  

I'm running on OSX Mountain Lion if that makes any difference.
