Pasting sometimes does not work when switching keyboard layout

saltukkos opened this issue · comments

Hello! I noticed that sometimes when pressing the paste key(I use the standard hotkey cmd+shift+V) all the text is selected instead of pasting the selected item (as with cmd+A). I'm not quite sure what is the reason, but it looks like it depends on input source. I use two keyboard layouts - the standard one (ABC) and "Russian - PC". Look like when I copy the text with "cmd+C" using one keyboard layout and paste with "cmd+shift+V" using the other one, all the text is selected. (But at the same time selected item from history is actually moved up, so, cmd+V works as expected afterwards.

If I open the preferences of Flycut in this "broken" state, everything works fine until I close preferences window.
Also, sometimes I notice, that it's "Cmd+shift+М" in the "main hotkey box", and the letter "М" is what placed on the "V" key in another layout, but I didn't change the hotkey manually.

I use Version 1.9.6 (9) on MacOS 12.2.1 and have Flycut checked in the "Accessibility" settings.
I'm also attaching the video with the bug reproduction.

Any ideas?

I have the same problem with keyboard standard (ABC) and "Russian - PC"
I tried all version from 1.9.4 on MacOS 12.5 and have Flycut checked in the "Accessibility" settings .

@mikola228 I wasn't able to resolve the issue, found another open-source clipboard manager. You can try Maccy, it's lightweight and has history search.

Thank You very mach, Maccy real better)
