Video stalling

The internal video player stops every few seconds. There are times it works fine. It works as if the problem is with my internet connection. When I use the external browser choice I do not experience any glitches. The video player issue seemed to start about three days ago.
If I just choose external the audio is muted. I tried external audio on and off.
