cube-pipeline does not pick up datatype config from columns input

Could either be a problem with the cube-pipeline ignoring the datatype, or that the datatype is not picked up during the parsing of the columns CSV file. But specifying a column as datatype integer still produces triples with string values
The datatype simply needed to be set on the Value column details as the Count was configured to be qb:measureType
