Error with custom usergroups

A friend of mine just found out that it doesn't work with custom usergroups:
Fatal error: [] operator not supported for strings in /home/casualbananas.com/public_html/inc/plugins/wiki/functions.php on line 104
Maybe you can fix this?
There is no inc/plugins/wiki/functions.php.
