Setting up automated users (role accounts) instructions fail in gpg2

I followed the instructions on how to setup automated users (role accounts) in the readme file and whenever I try to blackbox_postdeploy I just get the no-secret key error in NEWMASTER even if gpg -K and gpg2 -K say the secret key is imported.

I had to re-generate a new key using gpg v.1 instead of gpg2 for my role account to work.

Posting here in case someone experiences the same thing.
