Setting rate doesn't work for poisson sources after reset

I make 3 runs, changing poisson source's firing rate, but all three output spike trains are exactly the same.

import spynnaker8 as p

def print_spikes(trains):
    nseg = len(trains.segments)
    for i in range(nseg):
        trains1 = trains.segments[i].spiketrains
        print "segment ", i, " ", trains1[0]

simtime = 300

pop_ex = p.Population(1, p.IF_curr_exp(), label="test")

               synapse_type=p.StaticSynapse(weight=2.0),  receptor_type='excitatory')

Closing as this script now behaves as it should do.
