Hi,
It's possible to enable LCD_SET_PROGRESS_MANUALLY and HOST_ACTION_COMMANDS in Configuration_adv.h ?

#define HOST_PROMPT_SUPPORT
#define HOST_START_MENU_ITEM // Add a menu item that tells the host to start

This would allow full communication with Octoprint.
