(Linux)inputs do not work in game with Awakened running(POP OS)

Sorry Im new to this, and I've tried to search around on here and google and haven't really found anything that helps.
PoE works fine by itself. When I open PoE and and have awakened trade running it almost as if awakened poe trade has a layer or something over the game and none of my keyboard/mouse inputs work in the game. The only thing that kind of works is a single mouse click to move a certain distance, cant open any menus.
none of the Awk PoE inputs work at all. ie ctrl+d does nothing.
If I alt+f4 it closes awakened trade and everything goes back to normal with the game.
Is there a work around I'm missing to get this running correctly?
So a couple things I've found, it works fine with PoE in window mode. but I'f i have it in fullscreen window it doesnt.
If im in fullscreen window, and i hit shift+space a couple times it kind of goes back to normal but all the awakened poe trade screens open on my second monitor.
try starting the binary from the terminal with the --no-overlay option
