I assume this package is JS only?
from a coffeescript file, would it show popups for relevant meteor JS APIs? ie not parsing my own CS but just showing hints or docs for the JS files?
I guess tern/cs is a way off...

This is something that is probably best addressed in the original TernJS project. This project is just a plugin with some scoping logic and generated defs.
