Country Selector Excessive DOM Size

Describe the enhancement you'd like
The language selector has an incredible amount of dom elements for international stores. I propose an enhancement that renders them only when they're needed.
Our store consistently fails excessive dom size metric on lighthouse solely from the country selector.
