After years of fighting on linux against crappy fonts in java based ide I finally found a solution that satisfy my needs.

Now Ubuntu Mono looks exactly like in sublime.
@jensk this is intriguing, but it might be more useful to make a pull request which includes a script that people can run to get this to happen...
